R7 260X for ARK Survival Evolved?

I am looking to build a PC in the next 2-4 months and the games I want to play are Skyrim, GMod, Minecraft, et cetera but the most graphically intensive game I really want to play is ARK.
I could go for an R9 270 though I want to know if it would offer a significant performance boost over the 260x. I'd like to play at 1080p on anything but low settings and get 30fps+.
I also am English. Everything is overpriced here.

Okay, I will check I will get my 980 out and put in a r7 260x OKAY...so I got all high 27 fps and normal 35-ISH is not a good card go for the r9 270x or play at 720 p on 720p i could get 60+ on medium that is the way to go for 60 fps .Or you could go 1080p low and get a 40 fps avrage

Thanks for taking the time to test the card, I think I might go for it as 27fps at 1080p high isn't nearly as bad as I expected (I am a console peasant currently) and as the game is still in early access optimisation should hopefully slowly but surely bring that number up.
