[SOLVED] R7 2700x+1070ti/R5 2600x+1080

Im looking to upgrade my pc (rebuild it) but i dont know what to go for!
Ryzen 7 2700x + 1070 ti amp edition
Or
Ryzen 5 2600x + Gigabyte 1080 G1

Which would be better and last longer?

My instinct is to lean toward the second if you're strictly gaming focused - the CPU has 2 less cores (4 less threads), and only a 100Mhz drop in speed, but the GPU is a little better.
