R9 280 or GTX 960

Good afternoon. I'm trying to decide on which video card to get for my build. I've narrowed it down (for now...) to these two specific cards:

XFX Radeon R9 280 (R9280ATDFD)

Asus STRIX-GTX960 (STRIX-GTX960-DC2OC-2GD5)

Looking for some input/opinions on which way to go with this.

I own a 960 strix, can vouch. Very good card for 1080p. Runs Witcher 3 almost maxed at a rock solid 60+ fps.

the 970 can run the witcher 3 maxed at 1080p but i suppose that since its priced at 309$ (zotac 970 which is what i have) i suppose its out of your price range

Not saying Nvidia > amd just did go to nvida cuz i readed that their cards were running cooler and with less noise sadly that isnt the case unless you tune down your games (had to do with gta v in order to keep my card cooler without having to open the side of my computer case xD) anyways you get batman wich comes the 23 this month and the witcher 3 i think you can get that one too but not sure

go with the nvidia gtx 960 as it is great card for that value and it can handle all games in high with some tweaks in 60+ fps and nearly all games are optimized for the nvidia gtx graphics card and also you get g-sync with nvidia card which makes games look awsome and nvidia gtx 960 hane low power requirement than amd r9 280x

r9 280...3gb ram / 384 bit and u can overclock tooo easy...
