Hey guys,

a few days ago i got my new pc:
i5-4590
gigabyte H87-HD3 motherboard
12GB ram
sapphire r9 280x vapor-x OC ddr3
FSP raider 650w power-supply
windows 8.1 64 bit

and since the beginning i have problams with card and his drivers.
every time i try to play in a game (AC3,watchdogs,BF3..) after a few seconds-minutes my screen goes black and i get that "display driver recoverd successfully..." error massage.
i have the latest amd driver: 14.7 beta version and i updated my directx(and i think its good because it fixed me other problams).

please guys, help me, all I wanted is to play games and enjoy but instead i only got dissapointed all the time.

edit:
So i went to the AMD folder and i saw to driver folders:
(i tried to put a print screen here but i couldn't....)
the "WU-CCC2" is the driver that the OS installed automatically the other folder is the driver that i installed. could it be the problam?

Solution
Well then uninstall ALL video drivers and then search and delete all files associated with those drivers that were not deleted during un-installation process. Then download and install the AMD driver that is NOT a beta. That is all I have based on the info given. Maybe someone else can shed more light.

I agree with Suztera, the driver you downloaded is the Beta. Uninstall the current driver by following AMD instructions. Then install the non-beta driver. Also make sure that the onboard GPU driver is disabled and uninstalled. Although it might have been disabled automatically once you inserted your GPU, the default drivers may still be installed.

Also, this may seem like a dumb question, but are you sure that you inserted your video cables (DVI, HDMI, VGA) into your r9-280x, and NOT your onboard motherboard connectors?...
