how important role will 3gb vram play in future 1080p games

For 1080p i'd get the 770, more than that i'd get the r9
In future along with higher res textures and high AA 3gb will help.
Powerwise, the 770 will do better in most games, however the r9 will do better in some.

in ultra level
with above 60 fps
my other features are quite good

You will get frame drops in intese scenarios, however they are quite playable on high detail.
Just dont AA to the max, you'll be fine.

I suggest the at least the gtx 780 if you want to play games on ultra with anti aliasing and special effects however the gtx 770 and 280x will allow you to play some games on ultra and maintain 40 fps or more.

The gtx 770 is a overclocked 680 and the 280x is a similar to the 7970 ghz edition.

The above cards are flagship cards for 2012. Both cards are good for gaming however you will need to lower settings.

The games will still look good!

money is quite an issue i have stretched my budget a lot already
i certainly can't get a gtx 780
