I know this thread has been dead for a while now, but I just want to add. The only games I can't max out on my GTX770 and PII 965 are the ones that the devs didn't optimize correctly. AC4 is a perfect example for a good looking game, that takes WAY too much to max out. BF4 runs fine on Ultra 1080p, as long as I use 8xAA instead of 16X as with the latter, I run into some frame buffer overflow, and occasionally the framerate just drops to 5-6 for a second.
