R9 290 caught idling without doing any gaming or anything other than movies and internet browsing

The other day i caught my Sapphire R9 290 Reference, idling at 94 degrees, seemed a bit insane as it had 30% fan speed on it, and i have good airflow in my case, i have a H100 cooling my 8320 which isnt overclocked at all, as i havent gotten round to it, so what are my best options as it really heats my room up, too hot.
Please give me some recommendations as i have found the HG10 bracket i could use with my h100 and use it, but im not sure when they are out

wow, that seems too hot at idle that's pretty much max safe temp i would see if there's dust build up might be something wrong with your card.

C babachicken and nah i even have the door off my case, i cleaned it for dust the other day too Zephyrium and its still hot as hell

how old is your card? maybe you can get it replaced

im in the uk and got it from ebuyer, im not sure if i can, and i got it in like december?

if i can rma this shitty reference one, i would just pickup a 290x or nvidia alternative (though i do love AMD gpus)

OR what you recommend i do? i can just get a aftermarket one in a swap (not 100% sure wether RMA is direct same card for same card) or i could get a 770 or i can get a 290 and try get a HG10 bracket by corsair and watercool it? or any other ideas?

I think watercooling is just kinda patching the problem and hoping nothing else goes wrong, Usually RMA is just swapping for the same card or getting your money back. I don't know what i'd do in your situation.

i think ill try get my money back or swap for the msi aftermarket cooler 290 or get money back and buy one off ebay as you can get 290x's for like 280 new
