Configuration:
  • CPU: i5-4590
    Mobo: ASRock H81M-VG4 R2.0
    RAM: 8G DDR3
    GPU: R9 380 4GB
    PSU: just some 600W
    OS: Win 10 64bit

The system can run Furmark and Valley benchmark without problem. But as soon as I just OPEN 3DMark I get the infamus "Display driver has stopped responding." message. I can then loop the "Fire strike" benchmark for more than 30 minutes w/o problems but once it finishes and the results panel is shown I get the same error from Windows.

The problem repeats itself when I open Steam. Games work w/o problems themselves (cs:go).

I've reinstalled the drivers using DDU and tested the beta drivers - no change.

I've tested this GPU in another system and the problem is there. I also tested an nvidia gpu in this system; it works w/o problems running 3DMark and Steam.

Is anyone else experiencing this problems with their R9 3xx series GPUs?

I have the same issue with my r9 390 keep getting display driver has stopped responding. I have removed and installed the latest driver but with no results the problem still persist . any advice or help is useful

Are you still experiencing these problems??

I got the same thing :S

Same, happens when playing Fallout 4, but also stuff like minecraft! All drivers fresh installed and up to date, and the temperature won't go over 50 degrees celsius

I am replying more for fun any anything else 😀 It has been 3 years.
The GPU was defective and I RMAed it.
