R9 390X Strix on 600w PSU

whether R9 390x will fit in 600w PSU in 80+ Platinum certificate ??? if not enough I'm going to buy a 800w PSU 80+ Gold certified

What's the PSU make & model, and what's the rest of your rig (particularly CPU). Will you be overclocking either CPU or GPU?

One more question, is this a new purchase, or do you already have the 600W and you're wondering whether it's enough?

With an Intel CPU at stock and a good quality 600W unit, you're okay with a 390x. But if it's a cheaper/lower quality PSU, AMD CPU, or you're intersted in OCing, things get tighter.

700 watts is the recommended size for a 390X. Make sure you use a good quality PSU. The Platinum/Gold ratings only pertain to efficiency, not how well the the power supply performs or is made. Look for a Tier 1 or 2 from Tom's PSU Tiers chart.
