Hi,
Was shopping for graphics cards for a mate's build and I noticed that locally I can get an r9 fury (gigabyte) for pretty much the same price as an rx 480. Now my current plan is to wait for vega and see what happens but I was just interested in the performance difference between the 2 cards as they seem to be trading blows at 1080p 60fps.
Friend would mostly be playing at 1080p 60hz where it seems the fury isn't really at it's best. What are your thoughts on the comparison?
The highest end current games my friend would be playing are the Witcher 3 and Star Citizen. But the build likely won't see an upgrade for the next 4-5 years.
TLDR: r9 fury vs rx480 @1080p 60hz.
