hi every one
i don't know is 2x AMD R9 390X worth buying or one AMD R9 Fury X would be enough
GTX 980 and GTX 980Ti is out of option because i want all my pc parts belongs to same company for To achieve compliance

my pc is
CPU :FX-9590
SSD :2x Ocz Radeon R7 120GB in Raid 0
HDD :WD 1T black
RAM :4x G.skill 2400 8GB
MB :ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0

Solution
if that was the case 980ti many games will not support crossfire and one card always has less issues. i know you are opposing it but how about a xeon? they are meant to last MANY years running 24/7 at 100% load and are a higher quality than the i5s or i7s.
i can promise you from personal experience it isnt. you can make it look like it is with highly multi-threaded games but for the majority of what you will do you will be strangling the second card. for now stick with a single 390x or 970 and stay with a single card setup till amd produces their xen cpus. then if they are any good pick up one of them and a a second card

yeah, not in february, AMD wont be,.... Im betting my new system on ZEN, and High-End AM4 Chipset MB & ddr4 16GB Dual-Channel @3200Mhz DDR4... and My current Fury X GPU, Which is being held back by my FX-8150, my 8150 has done great for me for the last 5 years, Till may-June-july this year.

Im going AMD ZEN in February (HOPEFULLY RELEASED BY THEN) still may not compare to intel but i dont give a shit, cause i cant afford the intel i7 cpu i would get if i had the money and that would be the 8-core 16-Thread Haswell 5960X or whatever the i7 chip is but i dont have the $1000- $2000 buck or more just for the CPU ALONE, i already need a AM4 MB, DDR4 Ram, and the AM4 ZEN CPU...
