Actually, they both provide similar performance. The only significant difference based from the benchmarks in the linked review below is in Metro 2033 using DX9 instead of DX11 and in MineCraft. The Radeon HD 5570 slightly outperforms even the more powerful nVidia GT 640 in Metro 2033 using DX9, but only at the lowest resolution.

The Radeon HD 7660D, however is more powerful than the Radeon HD 5570.

Yes you are right. However if you still want the graphics performance you can get a 7770 for $80 after MIR @ NCIX. (Canada, not sure about US)
