Radeon 7870 > Gtx 960 = Good value upgrade?

I currently have a AMD Radeon HD 7870.

I need two dvi ports, and 1 hdmi port.

I'd like to be able to run DA:I, and AC: Unity at 60 fps.

Other specs: I5 processor, 128 gb ssd, 500 gb hd, 8gb ram. I'm not sure about the size of my PSU. I think it's 650

You can probably get an r9 290 for around that price, or spend a little more and get a 290x.

Now a 74% performance increase to a R9 290, that would be a very viable upgrade.
