I know how to use it, done all the correct things and it wont render using open cl, even though it's enable and when I press check GPU, it says it is there to be used.

So I reinstalled the drivers of my GPU and for one render it worked and it was super fast, however since that it has never worked again. Same settings, same file etc for continuity. I have tried running as admin, turning it off / on , deleting drivers when off, then reinstalling then turning on the option, nothing works. Anyone fix it? As I know it works as it has done it once.

Also with this being my first AMD Card I have owned I am not to sure of the settings and in Far Cry 3 there is a wierd bug / texture issue happening. When I "scope in" or run the rocks and land are sort of wiggley blurred lines sort of a smudged look and then it fades away and the rocks look normal, is this the game being buggy? Or do I have some settings wrong on my card?

Thanks

Update - Although I play Far Cry at constant 60fps, the game feels laggy, sort of odd.

I have also disabled all the filtering / depth of field options via the config file and it steel feels like its stuttering

Far Cry 3 is supposed to be getting addressed in the new drivers, something about frame times being an issue. Don't worry I have the same problems with my 7950. Best thing to do is lower settings untill you never drop below 60fps. Whenever the FPS drops below 60 it stutters. Especially in the first town and after you kill a buch of guys guarding an outpost.

What i did to keep the FPS up was to enable 1 frame option in game and force v-sync in the control panel(CCC). I also turned off anti alising, turned post processing to high, changed the water to medium and set everything else to very high.

It is a pain in the butt, because BF3 runs flawless and is probally even more demanding when playing 64 player conquest. Far Cry 3 is the only game I play that I have issues with, but there are others affected by the frame time issue.

Here's a link that explains the situation in better detail: http://techreport.com/review/24218/a-driver-update-to-reduce-radeon-frame-times

I haven't tried many other games but it runs fine in BF3 then? Maybe I will lower the settings just for this game, but it rarely ever drops below 60 anyway and how do you use the CCC, im new to AMD, should I have teselation on X64 for example?]

What are your settings

Let application decide for everything except I force v-sync while in Far Cry 3.
