Radeon 7950 oc edition vs gtx 670

hi i just wanted to know which would be better for my new build the gtx 670 (no oc) at its lowest right know is $360 and the radeon (oc 900 mhz) is at its lowest is $310 is the 670 worth the extra $50 with 2 gb of vram or should go with the radeon 7950 with 3 gb of vram, gaming at 1920x1080 and will there possibly be a nvidia price drop since the there kepler lineup is now complete

i5 3570k
asrock z77 extreme 4
16gb of ram 1600mhz
700w sli and crossfire capable psu

Solution
A stock GTX 670 is still about 10-15% faster than the best 7950. That's worth the price premium, as is being able to run Borderlands 2 with GPU-accelerated PhysX.

The reports of being able to run Borderlands 2 off the CPU show that the performance is spotty at best. Not something you want to rely upon in any event.

I know this is a month+ old thread but I came across it while researching my xmas card upgrade.

This was absolutely terrible and bias advice. You've quoted reviews that are based on a very specific game and given the impression that this performance is across the board. Looking at comparisons that use a lot of different games tells quite a different story. I also haven't come across any tech site that recommends the 670 over the 7950 using a price/performance scale.
