Hello everyone.

For some time now I've been having frequent crashed when in-game. These are crashes that display a weird graphic glitch, where the screen goes one color, or several other colors/patterns. I completely removed the graphics drivers and reinstalled them together with windows 10 updates. After that I saw some improvement.

But yesterday, it happened again. And when I rebooted my computer, I didn't get any image or response up on my monitor. My GPU is connected via a DVI-cable, so I tried with an HDMI, same thing. And I hooked up my monitor to my laptop, and the monitor works fine. my card is 5 years 3 months old. And I've never tweaked any components in my computer.

So, did my Radeon 7970 just die?

Specs:

Radeon 7970
I7-2600k
ASUS p8p67 LE
8 gb 1333 mhz ddr3 ram
650W corsair PSU
Windows 10 64 bit

What I feared. I'm so sad. It's still such a good card for it's age. And I just missed the warranty by 3 months 🙁

I did the baking procedure. And it surprisingly worked. It was a pain to remove the old thermal paste, so I'm hoping the temperatures are OK. I don't know how well the vmemory pads will work either.
