Radeon 7970 Eyefinity 6

Hi, I have an XFX Radeon HD 7970 Ghz DD Edition and I was wondering the best way to do Eyefinity 6 with it. It has 2 Mini Displayports, 1 HDMI and 1 DL DVI-I. On the AMD website it talks about doing Eyefinity 6 with Displayport Multi Stream. Their card has Displayport but my one has Mini Displayport. So if I were to get a Mini Displayport to Displayport Adapter and then had the Displayport Multi Stream plugged into that, would it work for Eyefinity? The MiniDP to DP adapter says it supports Eyefinity.
