Radeon HD 5450 2GB DDR3 PCI Express 2.1 Video Card will this work for diablo

Umm....you didn't mention what resolution your monitor is.

If it's 1280x1024, yes it will work.

I don't know why you would bother buying something so crappy though....if your going to buy a graphics card, buy something decent.

And your better off getting a 1GB card instead of a 2GB card, the 5450 doesn't even half the power to utilize 1GB.

If you don't even know what resolution the monitor is, I would recommend not buying pc parts for your son. Give him a gift certificate and let him buy his own parts. He's likely not going to be happy with a bottom of the barrel 5450, how old is he?

You also need to know what cpu and power supply he has before you can decide on a graphics card.

Firs off the 5450 is not a gaming card. the 4870 is the recommended ATI card or better for the gam and the X1950 ATI card plus the 4870 are both better cards. So I will link you to the hierarchy of the GPU's so you can see for your self.

When you chek scroll down untill you come to the first intell card on the right. Right next to it in the middle of the nVidia and intel is the AMD and you will see the 5450 then scroll back up untill you see the X1950.

You will see how far it is above it, it is. Then like said above you have to know if your PSU will handle a new card along with what type of CPU and RAM. That why it is good to list all that stuff when you ask a question.

I hope this has help and I wish you good luck on fixing your kids PC in order to play Diablo 3. I have 5 of my own and when they were little I know how it was now they get to buy stuff for there kids.

They have a lowprofile card you can get the HD 6670 in. I will link the whole page of 6670's and just pick out the ones that say lowprofile in the heading. The first link is what a lowprofile card looks like.
