My computer was originally a stock HP Pavilion p7-1126s, however, I wanted to upgrade the graphics card. So I went to Best Buy and they professionally upgraded it to a Dynex™ - 520W power supply to support the new card.
The card was installed there to, which is a Radeon HD Sapphire 6870. I got the monitor up and running, but it immediately crashed and resulted in grey bars, most notably during flash content. (Youtube, etc.) The only way to undo this was to force restart the computer.
I purchased the card refurbished, and it is very likely that it is just a bad card. I installed the drivers and everything (AMD Catalyst) but it still crashed at random intervals.
I sent the card back and am currently waiting on my next one.
Is it something I did, or will it likely happen again with the new card?
