Radeon hd 6950 HDMI not working (no signal)

The GPU is connected to 2 displays:
-Lg Monitor (DVI) working properly
-TV (HDMI) no signal

I'm 100% sure it is an issue with the GPU and not the TV. Because as soon as I uninstall the drivers, everything starts working properly, but when I install AMD drivers again, the TV loses signal. I tried changing the resolution, disabling aero etc... Also I think its worth mentioning that the TV loses signal after the Windows 10 logo. If I set it to use only the TV as the primary display it starts working again, however resolution beyond 1280x720 don't seem to work. So it looks like for some reason I can only use 1 display at a time.

I've heard some older cards shared line signals with the DVI port and the HDMI. I have a few questions for you to see what may be going on.

-Have you tried different cables? (HDMI, DVI; if so, what type?)
-on the DVI; are you using an adaptor to convert to VGA or HDMI or anything else besides strictly DVI-DVI?
-my 6950 has 2 DVI ports; usually high-end cards from this area are similar. do you only have one DVI port on this card?
