Hi! I just built my first PC (APU Build) Some time ago I decided to buy dedicated graphics card ( Radeon R7 250X Sapphire Vapor-X OC Edition ).

Here's my pc specs:
Asrock FM2A55M-VG3+
AMD A4-5300 APU with RADEON HD 7480D
2x Kingston DDR3 HyperX Red 4GB/1600 (8GB in total)
WD HDD 120GB sata1
*no optical drive*
Whitenergy 400W 2.2 ATX PSU

I wonder if my power supply will be enough for this gpu?

I don't believe that's compatible. Only A10 7700K and 7850K are Dual GPU (Internal Crossfire) are compatible with r7 240 and R7 250. 6600K is compatible with anotehr GPU but I can't remember which one, it certainly isn't the r7 240 and r7 250 though.
Thanks! I think i'll buy a better cpu instead of gpu (A8-5600k/6600k) and after that I'll start collecting money for a better psu and gpu. Any suggestions for a gpu to crossfire with a8 apu?

that makes sense now that i think about it. thank you for correcting me. it makes sense because the A10 processors are equipped with integrated R7 graphics. but, yes im on the same boat as you; not really sure which GPU can crossfire with a 6600k at the moment. maybe surf around some other threads and see what comes up..

According to this: http://cpuboss.com/cpus/AMD-Athlon-X4-760K-vs-AMD-A10-6800K

You're better off going with the Athlon if it's cheaper and you're going to buy a dedicated GPU anyway.

Dual graphics really isn't worth it, most GPU's intergrated into anything under an A10 7700K and A10 7850K suck.... the A10 7850K GPU I believe is equivalent to an R7 240 (Someone correct me if I'm wrong), realistically the 7700K isn't much far behind however the 6600K is not an R7 series GPU, and since the R7 series is theb est in the APU's and they're not THAT great, can you imagine what the 6600K is like?

Idk what your budget is but personally IMHO here in England (unlike the states) AMD GPU's are very well priced, the R9 270X, R9 280 and R9 280X would bey our best bet, however that may differ depending on the country you are located in. (And I say R9 280X because in some older games, Mantle nudges it slightly above the GTX 770, which is impressive)
