radeon r7850 graphics card

soooooo i have radeon r7850 graphics card and i bought an ample power supply to it plus i also got a new processor 8 core amd 8230. sooo with all that together it should be kickass right? wellllll as soon as i hook it up i see nothing and my monitor doesnt even read the hdmi. i had a previous card which is the gtx 750 ti (meh) cables are in check... but i think ive read somthing were i have to basically clear out my drives? not sure what to do m8

I think the 7850 does not have the latest flashed bios into it so the mobo is having a hard time detecting it, but i can do with you something later but i cant do it right now since i gotta leave in a little bit
