Radeon R9 290

I really want a radeon r9 290 since it's in my price range and great for what I want it for. The problem is only with my current PSU. I have 750 watt, but with only 1x 6 pin, and the card requires 1x 6pin and 1x 8pin. I'm unsure what to do, and unwilling to do anything risky. However, I did also find that the r9 285 would be satisfactory, but it requires 2x 6pin, and I only have one. What should I do?

My current GPU is the GTX 650. I might sell it and buy a new PSU, any thoughts?

Molex to 8 pin power adapter that you have shown work perfectly fine for powering a gpu. I have a gtx 770 and it requires one 8 and one 6 pin connector and i don't have an 8 and the gpu came with the two molex to one 8 pin power adapater and the gpu works perfectly fine on it.

I just got the R9 290 and installed it this week and the card (I personally got the Sapphire) should come with extra cables to help fix this issue. It comes with a molex to 8 pcie and a molex to 6 pcie. If it doesn't come with the cables it would be much cheaper just to buy these cables separate, rather than buying a new PSU, since you obviously have plenty of power. (its like $5 for a cable)
