The R9-Fury X is a couple of generations behind the RX-580. That said, it still outperforms the 580 as the Fury-X was the top of the line when released. It should still perform quite well for a few years more at 1080p. and still perform decently at 1440p for the same amount of time. It's weakness, even when newer, is 4k, where even the old GTX-980Ti from the same time period even had issues.

While the Fury isn't as capable as the Fury-X it should perform similarly.
