Hi all.

Building my first PC and thinking about getting the

MSI Radeon RX 480 4GB GAMING X Video Card

I play a lot of older games currently like Final Fantasy XI, but also want to be able to play newer games at decent quality.

I want a card that will be able to be compatible with anything I want to use it for. I remember reading that Nvidia likes to discontinue compatibilty with the older stuff, so that's what drew me to the AMD cards, but I don't actually have any first-hand knowledge.

If anyone has any feedback, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

[EDIT]
Build I'm planning on:

I would add at least a 120GB SSD to that, this is 2017 and he is spending over $1200. Anything over $1000 should at least have a small one for a boot drive i don't know if you have ever used an SSD but they are well worth buying at least for the speedy boot and windows loading times. Other than that, your list does is indeed money well spent and i would opt for this over the original. :)
