News Radeon RX 5600 XT Allegedly Features Navi 10 with 1,920 SPs and 6GB GDDR6 Memory

At any rate, the 6GB variant would be a hard sell considering that the lower-tier Radeon RX 5500 XT is available with 8GB of GDDR6 memory.

I mean, that depends. If games run well enough at 1080/1440p with 6GB, the massive boost in memory bandwidth and decent boost to compute maybe very well make it appealing. Especially if it's priced right... the 8GB 5500XT is actually kind of overpriced.

Admittedly, I think the 5500/5500XT prices will drop a bit as 570/580/590 stock sells down.

Except that here and there, 5700 models have dipped below the $300 mark.

Granted, that's holiday sales, but I think it might have an impact.

I would be a little surprised if the Polaris card prices didn't plummet, even once the holidays are over. The 1650 Super almost necessitates such a drop on AMD's part.
