I had two samsung 1tb hard disks on raid (250gb raid 0 and 806gb raid 1, with intel raid h87 chip) and everything was fine until one of them broke down. They are probably going to replace it with a seagate 1tb model and I have an older wd black 1tb as well. Will be a problem if I make the same raid (0,1) with two different hd models? And how the different transfer rate and response time is going to affect the performance of the two raid arrays?

They are definitely going to give you a Seagate drive since Seagate bought out Samsungs HDD division a few years ago. You can mix the Seagate with either drive to recreate your raid array from your backup. The new drive is probably the Seagate ST1000DM005
