RAID 0 WD Black on Asrock 970 Pro3 R2.0

Is it possible to RAID 0 2 1TB WB Blacks on the asrock 970 pro3 r2.0 without having to buy a raid card (is that even possible?)

Yes, you can. Download and install the intel RST. https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=22194 Go to the BIOS, change the storage mode to the raid. Reboot the PC to set up the raid0 by press "Ctrl" + "I". Or use the intel RST to set up the raid0 directly.

Edit: Sorry, because the MB is the AMD, you should use the amd raid, not the intel. But you can use the raid0.

if you look over at wd's site on the black drives you may see they don't recommend them for raid .. they will raid but no guarantees on how well or how long

According to the official ASRock specs the motherboard does support RAID.
