Hello Guys,

I need help. THanks
Sony notebook Model no. Viao SA28,

The original SSDs 128GB X 2 may have bad sector since I cannot recovery and cannot startup the window. They always got Error during the process.
Those SSDs have been used more than 3 years with daily use. I think they are over.

After that I buy two new SSDs with are the same model samsung SSD 128GB X2.
But I just faced a problem. When I setup the window based on Raid 0, It suddenly crushed
when it is about xx%.I have seen 5x%, 3x%,4x%. I have also tried single SSD 128 (64X2) and two SSD 256(64X4) also crushed.
If i don't do it on raid 0, it seems all working normally.
I don't think that is any bad sector in those new SSDs.
So, what is the problem.? Motherboard?
Thanks So MUCH.

you can't install windows to a raid setup unless you load the proper ACHI/RAID drivers first.

furthermore, no one will ever suggest you set up a RAID0 with SSDs, that you lost all your data on a 3 year old RAID setup isn't a surprise. the chance of a RAID0 failure is equal to the chance of a normal disk failure raised to the power of the number of devices in your raid0 setup. so if your drives had a 5% annual rate of failure, there would be a 25% chance of failure per year for a 2 disk raid0 setup.

Thank you for answer.
ACHI/RAID drivers? How to setup?
Sorry, I never heard that before.

when you load into windows setup, you should get the option to chose which destination drive to install windows to, there should be an option at the bottom of the screen to "load drivers"

you need to get your motherboard's ACHI/RAID drivers from their website, save them to a thumb drive or something (if they're zipped make sure they're unzipped when saved to the thumb drive, load those drivers from the thumb drive, should allow you to install windows at that point.
