Raid 0 with two SSD's (Low Write speeds)

I don't need benchmarks to tell me what I saw when working in a repair shop. I had more failures with Mushkin SSDs than Samsung or Intel (the two top SSD brands).

You can have the best performance but if it doesn't last or fails faster it is pointless.

Again, I am trying to help so make sure you have the latest AMD chipset, AHCI and RAID drivers installed.

Fair-- but I felt like RAID was being brushed under the table like some forbidden thing that shouldn't be done. There's nothing wrong with buying a second drive to supplement the one you have rather than buying a larger drive.

Well it was a nice solution for me who needed more space and why not getting some boost on speed even if i wont feel any difference? I like the numbers of ATTO! Crystal disk is letting me down :D

And you can buy a second drive, hook it up, and have exactly the same drive space, without bothering about the RAID 0.

But, whatever.

So..OP..it is or is it not actually 'faster'? You initially said "really low write speed" in your first comment.

As it seems read speed has been doubled in both benchmarks and crystal disk shows really low read speeds compared to ATTO which i run after i posted this! Maybe there is a defference at the way those two benchmark test the speeds!

sorry for necroposting, but for me worked like a charm, I had to make the raid because my design software cant be fully installed on another drive that inst windows drive, so i was stuck with 120gb drive, bought another 120 gb make the raid, and problem solved.
