Raid error with file loss.

I have two hard drives in a raid 1 configuration. It has been working fine for 3 years. Yesterday I added photos to the disks from my phone Then about an hour later I noticed the computer was starting to lag so I restarted her. On boot I got a message that the raid was degraded and it would not load windows. I thought this was odd because the raid was not the boot device. So I opened the bios and it told me that the raid would be repaired in the operating system. I clicked OK and it exited the bios and loaded windows. It opened Intel Rapid Storage Technology software automatically and told me that it was repairing the raid.

At this point I thought all was well... After it completed the repair of the raid, the raid was functioning normally but all the new files from the last two months are missing and old files are showing that they were last modified in December.

I am running windows 7. If anyone can help me please let me know.

It's not a guarantee it will work, but there is a 3rd-party software which you might have some luck with: UFS Explorer Raid Recovery.
