Question ram addition

i bought 2 8g ram bar to boost my pc a bit… i already have 2 4g ram bars in my pc… should i just take out the 2x4g to replace by 2x8g ok i can add my 2x8g to make 24g ram…?

yes.
with any Z77 setup the extra 8GB from 16>24GB wouldn't offer any noticeable improvement anyway.

even if they worked together you would be limited to the slowest module's speed & timings and may suffer other issues due to the mixed kits.
