Hello everyone,

I recently built a new PC and when I turn it on the RAM and CPU led light up for a 1 second, sometimes less, and then turns off. The computer boots without an issue.
I have double check all power connectors, removed and re inserted the RAM sticks, updated the mother board BIOS.
The RAM is compatible with the CPU and I do have AMD expo on, I turned it off and LED still turned on.
The computer runs fine, but it randomly turns off at times.

Specs:
MSI Tomahawk mag B650 WIFI
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600x
GPU: RX 6800 XT
RAM: G.SKILL Trident Z5 2x16GB DDR5 6000 timing 30-38-38-96
PSU: CORSAIR RMx 750W
All parts are new.

Any recommendation on what I could do next would be appreciated!
Thank you.

How often does it randomly turn off?

As for the LED lights, I don't know if that's normal or not, but my thinking would be that until the BIOS has powered up and confirmed everything is correct, the lights come on. What's more important is the lights don't stay on, meaning everything is fine and you shouldn't worry about it. The random shutdowns are probably unrelated to the lights at startup.

Today happen 2 times in a period of 5 hopurs.

What were you doing at the time, gaming or just browsing/watching videos?
Ok, so it shouldn't be a power or temperature issue if it did it while browsing. You said you tried with expo turned off and lights still came one, did you run it for long enough to see if it will still shutdown? It's possible the RAM speed and timings are causing it.

I'm using a 7600x too, my RAM is 6000 CL36 EXPO and it's fine, but I do know some people have trouble trying to run 6000 speed RAM and end up dropping to 5600.

I keep an eye on the temperatures while playing and they all stay within normal range.
Might try to get new RAM and see if problem persists...

You won't need new RAM, you might have to make a small adjustment in the BIOS. But 1st confirm it's the issue by turning expo off and making sure that fixes the issue, and then fine a stable RAM speed your system likes.

Just now while playing Diablo4 the computer froze and then it reboot. Expo was off. On event viewer got "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly." which has been the same error I have been getting.

I was thinking of removing the CPU and make sure there is no bent pins.
