Just got a z75 pro3, yeah it's an old board but i wanted to overclock my 2600k.
So i hook everything up and first problem i see is that the RAM only shows as 8gb. CPU-z recognizes that there is 16gb but BIOS does not, and neither does windows, so i'm guessing it's not being utilized.
Another thing i've found is that i can't raise my Cpu Ratio multiplier past x38. If i use the preset OC settings, it stays at x44 and shows as such on Intel Utility, but the Mhz stays at 3500 on CPU-z
I've tried updating and downgrading the BIOS, none has worked so far, I also took out the CMOS battery for a few minutes and held in the power button and still nothing... I emailed the supplier and ASrock and await a reply.
In the meantime, anyone else have any idea?
