RAM and video for Intel D975XBX2

Hello. Well the question is: I reciently have bought an Intel D975XBX2 mainboard and a Intel Quad Core processor (Q6600) but i do not have any idea about which video card and ram i will put in my machine. I was searching for 2GB pack RAMs @ 800MHZ (kingston) for my machine and i have found interesting this model:

I'd avoid the Kingston, it's overpriced for what you are getting, it doesn't even have very good chips in it for overclocking your memory, containing Infineon chips. If you want some better overclocking memory, and one that comes with better timings, go for Crucial Ballistix, G-Skill PC2-6400 HZ(specifically the HZ), Buffalo PC2-6400 Select/FireStix, or A-Data Vitesta Extreme Edition. These contain the great overclocking Micron D9GMH, D9GKX or D9GCT memory chips.

The 8800GTX is a great card, but the new 8800GT is almost as powerful, and costs much less.

If Amazon doesn't have any of the products I mentioned, try Newegg, ZipZoomFly or Tiger Direct to find them.

Ohh thanks you a lot! The other 8800 GTX video card was too expensive, but please check these cards that i have recently found, and they are cheapper but i do not know if they are compatible with my motherboard and maybe you can answer me that

Bothe cards are compatable with your board.But if you want real graphics power for a good price,get the 8800GT.They might be had to locate,but it is definately worth getting.Cheaper than the GTS series and almost the same performance as a GTX.Goodluck.

Check this out. The last one is superclocked. Do you think can i trust i that "superclocked"?

Well, all those models are out of stock or has not been released. And it still been compatibe in my PC? I think so but i want to be pretty sure .

EVGA is a well known and well respected video card manufacturer.I have several cards from EVGA,and I've only ever had to return one card out of seven.EVGAs customer support is very good,you also have a 90 day stepup program where you register your card with EVGA and then they give you the option of upgrading over the next 90days,to a higher performing card.You only pay the difference between what you paid for your card and the one you want to upgrade to.(in US dollars).OH,besides shipping of course.But either way,I've found them to be very reliable cards.Great performance as long as you stay away from the 8500 series and down.8600 and up for gaming.Although in my opinion,the 8600 should only be used for multimedia machines.Hope I;ve helped you some.Goodluck.
