[SOLVED] Ram compabilty issue

I just recieved my ram today and when i intalled it to my pc it didn’t work i would like to know if it is compatible?

When i got the ram i installed the ram along with a different stick that the computer came with. When i pressed the power button it took a couple of minutes before it booted. When i checked how much ram there was there was still the same amount of ram before i installed the new one. I checked if the ram was dead and turned out it was. I replaced the original with the new one making it a single-channel setup and it had one continous beep and wont boot. PC works fine with my old ram.

If your links are correct, you are trying to use DDR3 RAM on a motherboard which requires DDR4 RAM --- read the board specs at the bottom:

"Supported RAM Type: DDR4"

Considering they are notched differently it's a mystery how you even managed to fit DDR3 RAM in to a DDR4 slot.

Im absolutely this is ddr3. There are people out there using ddr3 on this. I even checked my ram inside it is ddr3. And if you read futher it say ‘Ram Bank:2 DDR3 DIMM’

You are right but it's very strange that the motherboard RAM type seems to contradict itself. However, compatible RAM for the Acer Aspire TC-710 is all listed as DDR3L on Crucial.com - - - the letter 'L' means it's low voltage:

The RAM you bought from Shopee is not low voltage --- it's entirely possible that your motherboard only supports low voltage RAM (DDR3L).

but can i mix a 8gb to my current 4gb stick on my pc?

You can use RAM sticks of different capacity but it's best if both are the same capacity so you get the performance benefit of dual channel, (that's assuming your motherboard supports dual channel architecture, I can't say for sure that it does but it very likely does since dual channel has been a feature of most motherboards for several years).
