Ram compatibility issue

I picked this ram on pcpartpicker and it said it was compatible but when I go to newegg it says its for z170 and x99 mobos. I am getting an H170 Msi Gaming Pro ATX

It is probably compatible. However it is not on MSI's memory support list for that board which does not mean its incompatible it probably just means they didn't have it there to test.

As per MSI site, that memory is not present in their memory support list...So, find one that is in this page...
