Hello everyone,

I''m currently in the process of changing out some older parts in my system to bring them up to date, one of these being my RAM. However the RAM i wish to buy im having trouble determining wheather its compatible with my MB i have done somew reaserach on this from MSI's and Kingstons websites ( See links and specs below)

CPU - Ryzen 7 5800x
GPU - Sapphire Radeon Pulse 6800xt
RAM - 32GB (4 x 8 GB) Corsair Vengence PRO (3000Mhz)
MB - MSI X470 GP

Part Number for New RAM - KF432C16BBK2/32

Part Decoder - https://www.kingston.com/unitedkingdom/en/memory/memory-part-number-decoder
QVI - https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/X470-GAMING-PLUS-MAX/support#mem
RAM- https://www.kingston.com/unitedking...apacity=32gb&kit=kit of 2&dram density=16gbit

Solution
Yes, it is compatible.

Ram compability is pretty simple.
Is it the correct version? (DDR3 VS DDR4 VS DDR5)
If no then no
If yes then it should work.
Only reason it wouldn't work is because of either bad ram, bad slots, bad cpu mount or (less common now, but was pretty common in first gen ryzen) poor cpu memory controller.

The qualified vendor listing on your MB website is a guideline of specific kits that were tested and validated to work, but practically every kit should work.
