[SOLVED] RAM compatible with motherboard

Solution
Well it simple Memory QVL (Raven Ridge) is for Ryzen 3 CPUs and APUs ( Summit Ridge ) is for Ryzen 5 CPUs and APUs and (Pinnacle Ridge) is for Ryzen 7 CPUs. What CPU you have and that will narrow down the search tell me and I'll help you

Ryen 5 2400G. Could you also check if any of these RAM would be compatible. That would mean alot !

Sure but I will need the exact number for the memory so I can check the QVL, like the whole line of the memory id, something like this F4-3000C15Q-16GRR you know the whole ID number.

Ok so the G skill it's not supported on the QVL F4-3000C16D-16GISB this one, there is one as this but its GTZB in which I doubt that you write incorrect number, like the one that is supported is F4 3000 C16D 16 GTZB, and the letters are so similar to GISB so I thought to my self that you wrote it wrong but I doubt it, so as for the Patriot one same not supported but that same one is supported on 3200Mhz, so if you can get 3200Mhz it will be supported. Other than that we can check other sticks close to your price, is there 3200mhz with a close price to yours, because ONE THING to consider Ryzen LOVES fast memory, faster you get better for it, trust me everyone will tell you this for Ryzen chips, the fabric just go insane faster with faster memory.

DDR4 16GB (2x8GB) Crucial Ballistix Sport, 3000MHz, BLS2K8G4D30BESBK or
DDR4 16GB (2x8GB) Corsair Vengeance LPX White, 3000Hz,CL16, CMK16GX4M2D3000C16W

I know its 3000mhz but 3200 is way too much in terms of costs. 2933mhz is the max supported speed but I was looking on other forums and people say that 2933 to 3000 is a sweet spot and works well. No matter its not on qvl.

Yet again those sticks are not been listen on ASRock QVL, you never ever want to buy an unregistered memory that is not been on QVL, buying a memory that is not on QVL = not been supported = means ASROCK team have never tested that memory and there is no guarantee that will work. That was my first mistake, when I made my build, I bought a memory that wasn't on the QVL I have Asrock b450 pro4 mobo, and adding the sticks that I bought they were displaying BIOS which was interesting but the unsupported memory was always on default 2133mhz, although my memory was 3000mhz, XMP on XMP off, manually adding it on 3000 even lower nothing worked, so that was the very same day and I took it back to the store and they were kind enough to return that memory and give me a kit that was on the QVL that I saw after all drama happened and they return my memory, although 2 of the employees didn't want to do that, they were oh you open the box blah blah, why you don't watch carefully that this memory wasn't on the mobo QVL, etc etc, and one other employ was more than kind to say OK we will return it for you, because you bought the mobo from here and we understand your mistake. So they return my memory because I bought the mobo from them too.
I'll say again mate, don't buy memory especially with Ryzen that is not on Motherboard QVL, it's a risk and it's your own risk. It is very easy going in ASRock link that you post it, go in Summit Ridge memory QVL and check whatever memory you like on the list you will see for your self.
