[SOLVED] ram crashing

Hi there i just upgraded to 32gb ram. I had 2x8gb 3200hz I got another 2 8gb of the same ram (CORSAIR Vengeance RGB PRO 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3200MHz CL16 DIMM 1.35V (CMW16GX4M2C3200C16) ). when ever i play games it will crash on me randomly . anyone know what i should do.

You're mixing RAM. Even if both kits are from corsair and it's the same model it doesn't mean it will work.

What you can do is try both kit alone and if they both work fine alone and they don't together you can do the following below.

• 4 sticks of RAM put more stress on the memory controller and sometime you cannot run them at advertised speed. Put the RAM at 2933MHz and see if the crashing is gone.
• If the crashing doesn't stop you will have to return the RAM and get a 2x16GB RAM KIT and just don't use the old kit.
