RAM Difference ???

Can anyone tell me the difference between costly G.Skill ripjaws , corsair vengeance and cheap corsair XMAS rams.(4GB) This is for a entry level gaming pc.

Performance wise if timings are the same all of them will perform the same so get the cheapest if on budget.

if you're doing a budget build, dont even worry about the timings. it means so little in the real world in the budget sector. Make sure you do 2x2gb if you're doingi a 4gb setup (not a single 4gb stick)

The 2 x 4Gb is going to run fine, I would not mix the two in the second question.
