So, recently i bought myself a motherboard from asus, ( https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/RAMPAGE_IV_BLACK_EDITION/), and i bought this RAM (https://www.hyperxgaming.com/us/memory/fury-ddr3). On the asus site it says that the motherboard runs DDR3 24 pin, and the ram is DDR3 24 pin, but still the little "hole" in the ram does not match up with the socket on the motherboard.

Solution

Just look at the Memory Support list for your motherboard.

Yes, ofc, its the hole in the golden end on the ram stick that does not fit into the motherboards socket, i know this ram stick does not work, i am asking for one who does.

I know the ram does not fit, but the motherboard runs 24 pin DDR3 ram, as the ram is, so I am wondering if you could find a ram that actually fits into the motherboards socket.

Just look at the Memory Support list for your motherboard.
