Hey there,

It's a bad idea to mix ram like that, because often there can be issues running two different DIMMS (even if the timings/voltage and speed are very close).

There is a chance they can work. If you are happy to play around in the bios, then this could work.

The best solution, is to buy a 2 x 8 matched kit, and sell your current ram to offset the cost. This will ensure (as best as possible) your new ram will work together for dual channel.

well i rly wanted to buy a 2x8 kit
but the budget wont allow that and iam pretty sure it would be hard to sell my ram
so i rly hoped this could work
they have same company same volt similar timing
