Hello I planned to buy an
R7 7800X3D paired with a MOBO Gygabyte B650 Eagle and I was wondering which one
RAM to buy for the best compability i was planned to go for the "G.Skill DDR5 Trident Z Neo RGB 2x16GB 6000mhz"
cause the mobo are listed on the G.Skill compability or go for the "Corsair DDR5 Vengeance RGB 2x16GB 6000mhz"
but I want to be sure before buying them, can you help me out ? Thanks

Best compatibility? I'd check out the memory support list for your Gigabyte motherboard. Your answer will be there. If both those kits you mention are on there, then take your pick, doesn't matter which kit, they will both work.

most corsair ddr5 ram is expo and xmp compatible. it should mention it on outside of the ram box. if your not sure .. just look at the rams coding and check it on google.. it will take you to the rams site and tell you if its 1 or the other or both,...

but my friend had xmp ram ..(g-skill).. and it was running on his am5 system no problem.. it just shows as " xmp" in profile... it ran for 3 months.. no problem.. then he upgraded to faster speed ram and size,...

my last ram was "2x8gb kingston fury beast" 5600mts.. in bios it was showing with 6 options 3,under expo and 3 under xmp.. i tried xmp and expo and had no issues. my current ram only shows "expo".

just a note... but both the xmp and expo clock settings were the exact same..

its a bit confusing to many people because.. on am4 many boards used "xmp" settings.. some boards said " d.o.c.p" or something like that.. which essentially is the same as xmp.. ..
