RAM from 1333 to 1600

Is there any sense to upgrade from 1333 to 1600?

h81m-p33
8 gb ram

Is this for gaming? If so, it'll only make a 5-10 fps difference maximum. It's not worth it in my opinion. if you are going to upgrade i'd recommend going to 1866 minimum

Okay in that case, I'd try and go to 1866 minimum. If you motherboard and CPU can support higher clock speeds then by all means

If it's free, sure, if not, a complete waste of money. Most games are GPU limited. A select few are CPU limited (faster memory makes only a tiny difference here). Maybe 1% are going to be memory limited, and even then your upgrade will only make a small difference.

5-10 fps? Thats generous, maybe hit 5 in a very CPU intensive game, otherwise most of the time it would be barely noticeable. If you're upgrading to a larger amount of memory, sure buy as fast as you can get for your board, but otherwise don't waste the money.

a new HDD for what? I'd go for an SSD if you want speed. In all these scenarios, if you want optimum gaming performance, get a high end GPU

The thing is i have old 500GB which i need to replace ASAP :s
I wanted to buy new RAM too, but if there is no point for this now, then i won't.
And i'm going to buy new GPU aswell :>

Buy a new HD, and with the money you were going to spend on ram, get a 120gb SSD. Install your OS to the SSD, and everything else to the new HDD. It will make a huge performance difference.
