Oi guys. So i just bought an 8GB DDR 3 and it doesn't work. Windows can see it but can't ise it. I've tried it in both slots and other pcs. It says that thing about only 4GB usable but we all know I have 64 bit. But other than that i can only tell you that it has 18 chips on each side, witch is unusual to to me. In all I hope you can help. Just say if you want specs.

Sounds like an older ECC model of DRAM, might be for a specific brand of server or the like, does it have a model # on it?
