RAM in BIOS isn't right

Im n BIOS and it wont offer me the 2133 speed thing Im s'posed to have, only goes up to 1600 in options and cpu-z says I have 800MHz speed. Im at my wits end with this 970 Gaming mobo! I watched a tutorial for it and I can leave a link for hardware I have but I just reinstalled the OS and the drivers and utilities for all my hardware. Could it be my Samsung Evo 850 tweaking the RAM(Corsair Vengence series) in virtual memory settings? ALSO, the CD that came with my mobo includes AMD chipset with Catalyst Control Center which I didn't install b/c I use Nvidia graphics(MSI GTX 970)but maybe I should install that?? Ive sent an RMA request for the MSI 970 mobo and calling postal service tomorrow UNLESS theres sumthing Ive missed. Thanx for reading

Its correct to get 800Mhz in cpu-z, being dual data rate its actually at twice speed so 1600mhz as reported in BIOS.

In order to get 2133 you need to modify your RAM multiplier or most likely the FSB:RAM divider, however that implies overclocking your CPU which is practically a must since frequencies above 1600 have been made available to OC scenarios.

In short, there's nothing wrong with your RAM nor your mobo, it simply depends on your CPU FSB speed.

Install the latest drivers for the mobo -including the chipset driver, make sure you have the latest BIOS. Next will be what CPU do you have (and is there any OC on it?) and what's the actual model # of the DRAM?

my PC is up to date and I have an AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Deneb Quad-Core 3.4 GHz Socket AM3 125W and Memory Model CMY8GX3M2A2133C11R ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233528 ). When Im gaming I look at the GPU usage % and it doesnt go above 70% so I dont suspect the graphics.

You have 2133 DRAM, the 965 was the first AMD CPU that could effectively run 1600 DRAM, so basically you are spot on at the moment running 1600, the defining factor in WHAT DATA RATE of DRAM you can run is the CPU's MC (memory controller) and 1600 is about it for a 965.....if you went to an FX then maybe you could run them at 1866 or 2133
