RAM is running at 2133mhz. How can I manually overclock it at 3000mhz?

Hi, my name is [strike]Xxxx Xxxxxxxx[/strike].

I got a Ryzen 2700x desktop which specs are:

* Motherboard: PRIME-B450M-A (BIOS Version 0604 [last one])
* Ram memory: 8Gbx2 3200 mhz (Cmk16gx4m2b3200c16)

According to Corsair Web page, the ram specification is:
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Memory Configuration Dual / Quad Channel
Memory Series VENGEANCE LPX
Memory Type DDR4
Memory Size 16GB Kit (2 x 8GB)
Tested Latency 16-18-18-36
Tested Voltage 1.35V
Tested Speed 3200MHz
--------------------------------------------------------------------
SPD Latency 15-15-15-36
SPD Speed 2133MHz
SPD Voltage 1.2V
Speed Rating PC4-25600 (3200MHz)
--------------------------------------------------------------------

* My bios settings are "auto" on everything. So the ram frequency is only running at 2133mhz instead of 3200mhz which It's the max supported by the Asus motherboard and It's specified from the corsair ram box specs.

* I bought those pair ram without checking the motherboard QVL before (mistakes of mines).

The closest corsair ram tested to mine are these ones (According to QVL):
--------------------------------------------------------------------
CORSAIR CMK16GX4M2B3000C15R Ram Speed Supported
by Ryzen 2nd Gen
(Ver5.30) 8GB*2 SS Hynix 15-17-17-35 1.35v 3000mhz 3000mhz

CORSAIR CMK16GX4M2B3000C15R
(Ver3.32) 8GB*2 SS N/A 15-17-17-35 1.35v 3000mhz 3000mhz
--------------------------------------------------------------------

* However, I don't know if my ram settings can be edit in a way which I can achieve the same settings specified on the QVL:

CMK16GX4M2B3000C15R (QVL) =/= Cmk16gx4m2b3200c16 (My memory ram)

* I wonder if I can manually overclock my RAM without damage it. And I wonder what settings should I edit in order to possibly achieve what I want? I don't have XMP.

I hope for a little help here, thank you.

PD: Sorry If my English is bad.

Ok now worries most mobos are displaying the default Memory Frequency just go in CPU and Memory overclocking and set your XMP profile on and that will set your memory as it is 3200Mhz with 16-18-18-36 on 1.35v. If the memory is been showed on the QVL as 3200 supported the XMP will add that speed and timings..But if it's not supported with 3200mhz on the QVL will run on the closes memory speed to that one.
Wait how you mean you don't have XMP, you MB supports Ram OC and your memory is XMP one, that's so strange, well besides IF YOU DONT HAVE XMP add the speed manually and add the trimmings manually and crank up the RAM voltage to 1.35volts.
Go manual and set 3200mhz set 16 - 18 - 18 - 36 and voltage 1.350v touch nothing else? Can you explain to me how is that you don't have XMP

I checked my Bios again, it's not XMP, it's something called as "D.O.C.P". And I used the only profile I found, the #1 which settings are like you told me:

3200mhz, 16 - 18 - 18 - 36 and voltage 1.350v

(Save&Reset)

My pc shutdown&turn on like 4 times. Then when It booted again normally, It showed a message saying It failed and went back to 2133mhz.

Well as you said how you did, probably that memory is not been supported on your motherboard on that speed, so either lower the frequency or if you can't try to give it back if you bought it just now.

Well mate I just check your RAM on ASUS Prime B450M-A and your memory is not been shown on the QVL, you always have to check QVL first to see if your memory is been supported, if not that can lead to things like this one you have now. You must not look which memory is closed to yours and on what speed runs you have to look your memory to be on the list on the QVL which means ASUS have been tested those memory sticks with that speed, other than that you have incompatible memory MOST LIKELY in this case. Like I said if you bought the memory soon just go change it, you have legal right to change it back within some 1-2 weeks especially if your memory is not compatible, just tell them that. I don't think there will be progress, even if you have some, it's not going to be on your memory speed 3200mhz, you want your memory to be on 3200mhz rated, and even to be able to OC that memory to some 3400mhz and so on.
