Hi, my name is [strike]Xxxx Xxxxxxxx[/strike].
I got a Ryzen 2700x desktop which specs are:
* Motherboard: PRIME-B450M-A (BIOS Version 0604 [last one])
* Ram memory: 8Gbx2 3200 mhz (Cmk16gx4m2b3200c16)
According to Corsair Web page, the ram specification is:
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Memory Configuration Dual / Quad Channel
Memory Series VENGEANCE LPX
Memory Type DDR4
Memory Size 16GB Kit (2 x 8GB)
Tested Latency 16-18-18-36
Tested Voltage 1.35V
Tested Speed 3200MHz
--------------------------------------------------------------------
SPD Latency 15-15-15-36
SPD Speed 2133MHz
SPD Voltage 1.2V
Speed Rating PC4-25600 (3200MHz)
--------------------------------------------------------------------
* My bios settings are "auto" on everything. So the ram frequency is only running at 2133mhz instead of 3200mhz which It's the max supported by the Asus motherboard and It's specified from the corsair ram box specs.
* I bought those pair ram without checking the motherboard QVL before (mistakes of mines).
The closest corsair ram tested to mine are these ones (According to QVL):
--------------------------------------------------------------------
CORSAIR CMK16GX4M2B3000C15R Ram Speed Supported
by Ryzen 2nd Gen
(Ver5.30) 8GB*2 SS Hynix 15-17-17-35 1.35v 3000mhz 3000mhz
CORSAIR CMK16GX4M2B3000C15R
(Ver3.32) 8GB*2 SS N/A 15-17-17-35 1.35v 3000mhz 3000mhz
--------------------------------------------------------------------
* However, I don't know if my ram settings can be edit in a way which I can achieve the same settings specified on the QVL:
CMK16GX4M2B3000C15R (QVL) =/= Cmk16gx4m2b3200c16 (My memory ram)
* I wonder if I can manually overclock my RAM without damage it. And I wonder what settings should I edit in order to possibly achieve what I want? I don't have XMP.
I hope for a little help here, thank you.
PD: Sorry If my English is bad.
