[SOLVED] RAM KIT problem

I have a problem with my ram kit Vengance pro 3200mhz rgb
One of them is working alone and one no, in bios is showing im using 2 slots, the memory 8gb 1 slot and 8 gb one slot, but it’s reading only 8gb there where is showing the total memory, in windows is showing 16gb (7.95 usable) i tried with msconfig and still 7,95 usable, but in task manager it’s saying that hardware is using 8.1gb and for me only 7,95, i used cpu-z and is reading all 16gb, can be one of my stick dead? Like i’m saying, one working individualy and one no, but i don’t know because the rgb is working, windows is reading it, only in bios 8gb total memory

PC specs are:
16GB kit Cosair Vengance PRO RGB 3200mhz
Amd Ryzen 7 1800x 3,60 GHZ
MB Msi Gaming x370 Carbon Pro
GTX 960 Phantom 4G

If you put the stick that "doesn't work" in the slot that the other one works in will it work? Sometimes only one slot will work if it's solo. Just making sure you've tried that before we assume one stick is dead

I put the stick in the same slot, but i don’t understand why rgb is still working and still showing in windows

Did it work when it was in the same slot?

The rgb just needs power to work has absolutely nothing to do with the ram working or not working.

Definitely update your bios to the newest if you haven't already as it'll make the 1800x and 3** series motherboard less finnicky with ram
