Hi,

I currently have 2x4gb modules (Kingston HyperX KHX16009D3)
I am thinking to add 2 more, but this particular module seems to be discontinued

So my question is what should I match them with?

Here's my setup: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/MultipleParadox/builds/#view=dZnnTW

While gathering the list of parts on PcPartsPicker for this very thread, I noticed they mention my RAM voltage might not be adequate (1.65v vs 1.5 recommended for IvyBridge)

Interestingly enough, this module is listed in Intel's QVL for this CPU, although not certificed on this particular MoBo (it IS certified for the Asus P8Z77 - I think the Sabertooth Z77 is "close enough"?)

Any suggestions / Recommendations?

Thanks!

Thanks for your reply

I haven't bought RAM in a while, but looking at the QVL, it seems latency is getting worse than a few years back (I'm seeing a lot of CL13/14)
It doesn't make much sense to me, am I missing something?

Should I still invest in CL8/9 or does 13/14 wouldn'T show much of a performance decrease?

Thanks
